Dr Oliver is a Consultant in Palliative Medicine at the Wisdom Hospice in Rochester, England and is a Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent. He has been involved in caring for people living with MND for many years and is a strong advocate for involving palliative care services from diagnosis. His presentation covers issues related to ventilation including timing of discussions related to initiation and withdrawal.
