MND Aware Acknowledgements, background and funding

Many people have been involved in the development of the MND Aware online training.

MND Aware is a web-based awareness training about motor neurone disease (MND), for health and community care professionals, developed by the Motor Neurone Disease Association of NSW.

Developed in 2011, the 26 MND Aware online training sessions provide health and community care professionals with a basic understanding of MND and the impact of MND on the life of an individual, their carer and family. The sessions have been specifically developed for home and community care workers, intake, information and referral officers, case managers, health and residential care workers. This project has been supported by NSW Government Family & Community Services, Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC) and MND NSW.
