At the end of this presentation you will be able to identify how MND causes speech difficulties for some people with the disease. You will be able to identify how MND can affect non-verbal forms of communication.
You will also be able to demonstrate strategies that will assist with communication when a person has communication difficulties and be able to list types of communication aids and equipment.
