The ALSUntangled Group - a group of international experts in ALS/MND provide a 'user friendly' evaluation of recent research in the field to help people with ALS/MND and their families to make informed decisions.

 

Follow this link to the MND UK RSS news feed and the latest in stem cell research - Painting the way to new motor neurones from stem cells - a study led by Prof Siddharthan Chandran from the University of Edinburgh has developed a new method of creating a diverse group of motor neurones from stem cells. It has the potential to create more accurate and clinically relevant laboratory dish models to learn more about the differences in vulnerability and connectivity of motor neurones in MND.

Funding opportunity for interdisciplinary MND care research in NSW. The Paul Brock Fellowship for cross disciplinary research in neurological conditions will support research projects in NSW that contribute to research outcomes in neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Syndrome and MND.  Follow this link for more information and the application form.
