Online training for health and community care professionals about MND

MND Aware training modules

The MND Aware training modules provide health and community care professionals with a basic understanding of motor neurone disease (MND) and the impact of MND on an individual’s life.
Developed in 2011, the MND Aware online training sessions consist of:
  • 9 Introductory sessions (Sessions 1-9)
  • 10 Symptom management sessions (Sessions 10-19)
  • 7 Wellbeing and support need sessions (Sessions 20-26)
The sessions have been specifically developed for home and community care workers, intake, information and referral officers, case managers, health and residential care workers. This project has been supported by NSW Government Family & Community Services, Ageing, Disability and Home Care and MND NSW.
